My pick for this week: Present Over Perfect by Shauna Niequist

I came across this book just chance. It was a book that resonated deep within me. Before Covid-19, I was someone that like to maximize my time. I would pack my schedule weeks in advance without giving me any space to breathe. I assumed that I was productive by doing a lot of things and keeping myself busy. I failed to realize that I was living behind a string of broken relationships. I was so stretched to the point that my family members were getting only the crumbs from me. After reading this book, I began to turn down some appointments and learned to cultivate my relationships. I began to take time for myself and live in the present. That has enabled me to keep a healthy body, mind, and soul.
